CPCI Adopts State-Based Format for 2026 Annual Convention, Announces Initial Venues

Calvary Pentecostal Church International (CPCI) has announced a state-based arrangement for its 2026 Annual Convention as part of efforts to ensure the safety, convenience, and active participation of members across the country.

The convention, themed “You Will Be Tried” (1 Peter 4:12; Job 23:10), will no longer be held at a single national venue. Instead, participating states will host the programme at designated locations within their respective states, while Lagos State and Ogun State will hold a joint convention at the District 7 Headquarters, Ibafo, Ogun State.

The church has announced the following venues:

– Lagos/Ogun: District 7 Headquarters, Ibafo, Ogun State.

– Rivers State: State Headquarters, No. 1 Calvary Close, Off Umuikere Street (Chigbu), Oyigbo, Rivers State.

– Ekiti State: Awedele, Ado-Ekiti.

– Ondo State: Oweakala, Akure.

The convention is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 19 August to Sunday, 23 August 2026, with activities taking place daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The programme will feature powerful ministrations by the General Overseer, Rev. J. O. Faboyede, alongside State Overseers and other anointed men of God, who will minister the Word of God, lead prayer sessions, and encourage believers to remain steadfast in their faith despite life’s trials.

The Church noted that additional state venues and any further arrangements will be communicated through its official channels in due course.

Members are encouraged to attend the convention at their designated state locations and to remain prayerful as they prepare for what promises to be a life-transforming encounter with God.

The 2026 Annual Convention is expected to be a season of spiritual renewal, fervent prayer, inspiring worship, and sound biblical teaching as believers gather under the theme, “You Will Be Tried.”
